洛克西基金会的宗旨是：解决真实的社区问题，从2022年的上海疫情，我们意识到了在我们自己的社区内，还有一群需要被帮助的人：城市里的留守儿童，独居老人，待业者。我们的目标是建立一个为这些人提供帮助的平台，有资源和经验的人可以向需要的人提供帮助、支持和指导。
The aim of the Roxy Foundation is to solve real issues in our communities, and since the COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai in 2022, we have realized that there is still a group of people in need of help in communities around us: left-behind children in the city, elderly people living alone, and unemployed. Our goal is to build a platform for these people to help, with the resources and experience to provide help, support and guidance to those needed.
note: Roxy-LINK is a platform initiative by the Roxy Foundation that connects volunteer organizations with the communities they aim to serve.
The name “LINK” stands for Leveraging Initiatives via the Network of Kindness

At Roxy Foundation, our commitment to diversity and strength is reflected in the composition of our core team and volunteer base. We are proud that 20% of our team members come from sexual minority groups, and 30% are first-generation college students, enriching our foundation with a wide range of perspectives and experiences. A central focus of our work is transforming communities.

Founded in June 2024 in Shanghai, the Roxy Foundation (formerly known as “Roger Gu Foundation”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a tangible impact on the communities around us. Our motto is “To Solve the Real Issues in our Communities.”
Our foundation is a testament to the power of proactive engagement and the belief that every individual has the potential to contribute positively to their community. Through innovative programs and partnerships, we address a range of issues, from education to environmental sustainability, from 6-years-old Gen Alpha to 89-years-old elderly, ensuring our interventions are not only effective but also inclusive. Via this process, we ensure that we have real impacts to the communities, making the proposals to realities. For us, “To improve is to change, to perfect is to change often.”
